Hair Basics

        Hello Glammetts,
My name is KD, I am a wife, a mother of three who happens to be a hairstylist who absolutely loves hair ( LOVE LOVE IT!) . I am also a  make-up fanatic and accessory overload wearing freak,  clothes and  shoes lover (but I love shoes so much more, oh my love for shoes) and   jewelry ( gold because it looks good on me) and all things glam. My hobbies are decorating and cooking ( I  love it because  it soothes me!) OK enough about me! I am starting this blog to share my knowledge of all things hair and everything in between.  Hopefully by doing so I can make your inner glam girl come out.  First thing is first: 
 Hair basics: In order to have healthy, strong hair you have to have the proper nutrients. Remember what goes into the body must comes out the body. I know I know you've heard this before ,but there is a reason why stylist's say this over and over. It is the foundation to having healthy, strong, beautiful hair.  Getting back to the basics is where it all begins.  I am no doctor even though my clients refer to me as their hair doctor. I am not a doctor. Ok  now that is all cleared up back to what i know. I know that if your body does not have all the proper nutrients your hair won't grow, you can supplement with vitamins. I recommend Biotin it promotes hair growth You can get some from walmart. You can try hair, skin and nails(thats the name on the bottle) vitamins, I like the ones from GNC. Remember to consult with your doctor before you take anything, Next you must be kind to your hair, don't stress it, meaning you should always, always condition find the conditioner that is perfect for your hair because remember glammetts no two people have the same hair regardless if you have the same parents.
